Veteran campaigner Dennis Orcollo took the No. 2 position in the season-ending world rankings of the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA).
The 30-year-old Orcollo amassed a total of 1,730 points with 600 points earned from winning the 2012 China Open, 390 from his ninth place finish in the World 9-Ball Championships and 300 points from his second place exploits in the US 9-Ball Championships. He added 240 more points for placing 17th in the World 8-Ball Championships and 170 for ranking fifth in the 45th All Japan Championships.
Taiwanese Chang Jung Lin occupied the top spot with 1,841 points highlighted by his domination of the World 8-Ball championships (850 points) and All Japan Championships (330 points).
Also in the Top 10 are Darren Appleton of Great Britain (1,549), Li Hewen of China (1,476), Fu Che Wei of Taiwan (1,418), Ko Pin-Yi of Taiwan (1,375), Ralf Souquet of Germany (1,213), Yukio Akagariyama of Japan (1,175), Thorsten Hohmann of Germany (1,095) and Liu Haitao of China (1,053).
Lee Van Corteza is at 11th with 1,004 while other Filipinos in the list are No. 19 Carlo Biado (732), No. 25 Efren Reyes (630), No. 29 Roberto Gomez (600), No. 34 Antonio Gabica (500), No. 35 Jundel Mazon (485), No. 46 Ronnie Alcano (409), No. 57 Joven Alba and Elvis Casalang (330), No. 59 Francisco Bustamante (329) and No. 76 Israel Rota (255).
