3 PH cue masters top Money Maker list

Three Filipino cue masters made it to the Top 30 Az Billiards Pool Money Maker overall list for 2012.



World ranked No. 2 Dennis Orcollo placed third with a total earning of $101,150. He got $40,000 in topping the China Open men’s division and $15,000 in ruling the US Open 10-Ball Championships.

Orcollo earned another $15,000 for his runner-up finish in the US Open 9-Ball Championships and $6,200 for his third place in the Guinness World Series of Pool. He also placed third in the World Pool Masters ($5,000), ninth in the World 9-Ball Championships ($5,000), fifth in the 45th All Japan Championships ($3,600), champion in the 3rd Annual Hard Times 10-Ball Open ($3,000) and sixth in the Southern Classic Bank Pool Division ($2,000).

The two other Filipinos in the list are No. 15 Francisco “Django” Bustamante with $30,025 and No. 30 Warren Kiamco with $21,275.

American Shane Van Boening, the reigning US Open 9-Ball champion, pocketed $139,923 to take the top spot followed by 2012 World 9-Ball Championships titlist Darren Appleton of Great Britain with $109,904.

Legendary cue master Efren “Bata” Reyes previously held the No. 1 position - in 2006 ($644,960), 2005 ($279,169), 2004 ($124,150), 2002 ($126,200) and 2001 ($215,362).
This year, Reyes landed at 31st with $20,825.
