THE Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (Tatap) completed a successful house cleaning in 2012 and is now set to compete more actively in the international table tennis scene.
“I really wanted to give this association a brand new start for the sake of all ping-pong players and our national team,” said Tatap President Ting Ledesma.
Ledesma, with Tatap board member and Secretary-General Annie Andanar recently commissioned coaches Lauro Crisostomo, Noel Gonzales, Floyd Lobaton, Lorie Wadjad and Johan Remaneses to train the Philippine table tennis team.
The step is part of Tatap’s preparation for the Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar in December.
