HUAWEI LAUNCHES ANDROID HANDSETS IN THE PHILIPPINES

 

Chinese-brand Huawei launched three Android smartphones consisting of the Ascend P1, Ascend P1 LTE, and Ascend D1 LTE, all three will be available through operators and retailers in the country in November.The networking giant boasts that its smartphones are products of its 20 years of wireless network experience and understanding.


“We are able to optimize the network search algorithm for Ascend and base station auto-search technology, allowing us to have faster signal detection and longer battery life,” said Johnson Ma, country manager of Huawei Device Philippines.Huawei Ascend P1 combines smart features and a sexy design, featuring a dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortext-A9 processor and measures 7.69mm thin and 64.8mm long, providing a very comfortable grip. With a 4.3-inch super AMOLED 960 x 540 touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass, an 8-megapixel BSI rear-facing camera and Dolby Mobile 3.0 + 5.1 surround sound technology.

While the Ascend D1 LTE and P1 LTE are loaded with 1.5GHz dual-core processor power, as well as the fastest data networks available through its LTE support.

These HUAWEI Ascend LTE Android smartphones enable faster downloads at a data transmission rate of up to 100 Mbit/s that far outperforms HSDPA. Its ultra-low latency guarantees smooth video calls and online games.Running on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the Ascend D1 LTE and Ascend P1 LTE are also equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass display presenting brilliant visuals on generous screen.
