ONE person died and 14 others were rescued after a motorboat capsized on Monday off Limasawa Island in Southern Leyte, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) has reported.
The lone fatality was identified as Adelaida Araneta Palero, a passenger, who was brought to the Rural Health Unit in Limasawa Island, along with 14 others who included a crew member and an operator of an unregistered boat called “Ruel.
