ELEVEN people died while two were reported missing after heavy rains spawned by the southwest monsoon (Habagat) swamped parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, police reported on Tuesday.
The latest fatality was Garner Arado, 22, a tricycle driver, who was killed when strong winds caused an old mango tree to fall on him and his parked vehicle in Langgam village in San Pedro City at about 7 p.m. on Monday.
