THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested over the weekend 12 individuals linked to an unauthorized investment solicitation, according to the SEC in an emailed statement on Tuesday.
The SEC said that it conducted an undercover operation with the PNP, composed of 64 supposed attendees, during an investment-solicitation session at the Peridot Restaurant of the Holiday Inn hotel in Pasig City.
