TWO justices of the Court Appeals are part of the shortlist of candidates for the associate justice post in the Supreme Court, the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) said on Monday.
Justices Japar B. Dimaampao and Ramon D.R. Garcia got six votes each from the JBC panel composed of ex-officio members Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra and Senator Richard J. Gordon, and members Jose C. Mendoza, Maria Milagros N. Fernan-Cayosa and Toribio E. Ilao, Jr.
