BACOLOD CITY: Two incumbent and former councilors of Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental were killed after unidentified armed men attacked their convoy while campaigning at a hinterland barangay (village) on Thursday.
Police Major Jonji Liba, Moises Padilla police chief, confirmed that Councilor Michael Garcia and former councilor Mark Garcia, nephew and brother of Vice Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo, respectively, were slain in the ambush at Barangay Inolingan, Moises Padilla.
