DESPITE the call for austerity measures by the national government, the Philippine National Police (PNP) chief on Tuesday appointed two junior police officers as deputy spokesmen for the organization.
While at it, the PNP chief, Deputy Director General Edgardo Aglipay, is also pushing for the creation of additional commands in the PNP even without approval from Congress.
