VICE President Noli de Castro’s schedule as the country’s caretaker for three days is not too tight, since Malacañang has not given any specific or important task in the absence of President Arroyo, who is currently on a state visit in China.

“We have not yet received any instructions from the Palace for any specific task besides a communication designating him [de Castro] as the caretaker,” a staff from the Office of the Vice President told The Manila Times in an interview.
