THE Cabinet-level Investment Coordination Committee and the Board of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) approved 229 government projects worth P513.762 billion from 2001 to June 2004, NEDA said in a statement.
The amount is inclusive of official development assistance (ODA) loans and grants, requests for increase in cost, changes in scope, loan validity extensions, build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects and contracts, and projects financed from other sources, said Rolando G. Tungpalan, NEDA assistant director general.
