Nueva Ecija policemen grumbling over overdue promotions

CABANATUAN CITY—A group of policemen holding the rank of Police Officer 3 called on the on the officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday to address what they called the “injustice” of their nonpromotion.

The policemen lamented that they have been languishing at the said rank for past 13 years and, although they took in October a test that would pave for their promotion, their eligibility for the next higher rank was cancelled.
