MALOLOS CITY—Central Luzon farmers have asked the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) to delay release of water for irrigation days after heavy rains caused millions of pesos worth of damages on agricultural crops.
Romeo Guison, chair of the Provincial Agriculture and Fisheries Council, told The Manila Times in a telephone interview on Monday that they don’t need water for irrigation this time.
