ROSALES, Pangasinan—At least P72-million worth of various infrastructure projects were lost in the Ilocos region after the devastating floods that hit Northern and Central Luzon two weeks ago, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

In an exclusive interview at his office in Barangay Tumana in this Sixth District town in eastern Pangasinan, the engineer Fidel Ginez, DPWH regional director and concurrent director of the Agno Flood Control System Office (AFCSO), said the bulk of the estimated damage consisted of roads and bridges in Pangasinan.
