Houston makes the right move

HOUSTON Rockets’ management bolstered their line-up when they recently acquired veteran center Dikembe Mutombo in a trade with the Chicago Bulls. They got the 7-2 former All-Star by trading three marginal players in Adrian Griffin, Eric Piatkowski and Adrian Griffin to the Chicago Bulls.

Mutombo is just what the doctor ordered since the Rockets are in dire need of a quality big man who can spell 7-foot-6 behemoth Yao Ming since there is no other legitimate center in the team’s roster. He also gives the team a tough inside presence with his rebounding and shot-blocking skills.
