BAGUIO CITY—The Baguio Elderly Association (BEA), in cooperation with the city government, will pay tribute to the city’s 12 most outstanding senior citizens in a program on October 28 at the Baguio Convention Center. The event is the highlight of the group’s monthlong Baguio Elderly Filipino Octoberfest celebration.
Nars Padilla, BEA president, said those honored will receive the “Gintong Tala” Achiever’s Award. Vice President Noli de Castro, he added, would be the guest of honor and speaker in the event.
