Lito Pimentel faces frustrated parricide for stabbing wife

THE Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office has filed frustrated parricide charges against the actor Lito Pimentel for stabbing his wife.

Assistant City Prosecutor Raymond Jonathan Lledo recommended the filing of the case after finding probable cause in the complaint filed by Maria Chrysantine Pimentel.

A bail of P200,000 was recommended for the temporary liberty of Pimentel, who stabbed his wife during an altercation inside their house at 49 Boston Street, Cubao, Quezon City, on February 9.

The couple allegedly argued after Maria Chrysantine asked Pimentel “Tapos na ba? ’Yun na ba ’yun!” after their sexual intercourse.

The actor apparently got insulted, grabbed a knife and attacked his wife.

Pimentel only stopped when the complainant’s uncle and aunt arrived.

Maria Chrysantine who was hit in her left hip was taken to the E. delos Santos Medical Center for treatment.

Pimentel, during the preliminary investigation, failed to submit his counteraffidavit to the allegations.
