The Vienna Boys’ Choir, one of the oldest choirs in the world, will perform at The Lobby of The Peninsula Manila tonight at 6:30, where they will charm music lovers with a blend of old and new works of music, spanning five centuries.

Also known as “Austria’s Singing Ambassadors,” the choir was formed when Emperor Maximilian I decided to commission one dozen choirboys for private masses and concerts for the court. By the end of the Habsburg monarchy in the l920s, the choir changed its uniform in favor of sailor suits, and widened their repertoire of music.
