SOUTH Korea will not have a new capital, according to the country’s constitutional court that ruled recently against the idea.

South Korean President Roh Moo Hyun has sought an administrative capital far away from Seoul, the nation’s political center. He made the relocation a key pledge in his 2002 reelection campaign.
