THE San Juan de Dios Hospital and two of its doctors were held liable by the Court of Appeals for the death of an 11-year-old boy who had dengue fever but was diagnosed with bronco pneumonia.
In a 13-page decision the appellate court affirmed the ruling of the Makati Regional Trial Court that held the hospital, Dr. Noel Casumpang and Dr. Ruby Miranda Sanga liable for the death of Edmer Cortejo.
