The worldwide demand for the expertise and skills of Filipino workers continues to rise with almost a million deployed last year, contributing at least $8.3 billion to the economy.
The Department of Labor and Employment statistics showed that 871,700 workers were deployed in 2004, or 3,731 more than the 867,969 deployed in 2003.
