I have always known Sen. John “Sonny” Osmeña to be camera shy and publicity shy. But I insisted that the celebration of his 70th birthday be documented. The party, catered by Queensland Food Service and organized by his trusted and loyal aide-de-camp Carlos Sario, was held at the Roof Deck and Pool of the Makati condo where John O lives. Music was provided by the De Capo Band and later toward the evening, friends sang songs for him.
