LT. GEN. Edilberto Adan tempts us with the line that media  interviews with “terrorists” are a disservice to the nation and that keeping them out of sight is an act of responsible journalism.

He proposes to add the “gag” order to one of the proposed antiterrorism bills being considered in the House and the Senate. We advise the lawmakers to turn down Adan’s suggestion and pay   attention to the more substantive aspects of the anti-insurgency bills.
