THE Sandiganbayan Fourth Division has suspended the chief of the Bureau of Fire Protection and another official for 90 days while an estafa case against the two is being investigated.
In a nine-page resolution, the court disregarded the arguments of fire chief Francisco Senot and finance service unit chief Florante Cruz that they could no longer be suspended because they were not actually and physically holding their positions owing to the suspension meted them by Ombudsman Simeon Marcelo.
