THE sale of sequestered ill-gotten wealth of deposed President Ferdinand Marcos’ family and cronies will fund the land acquisition and distribution program of the Department of Agrarian Reform, ensuring completion by 2008, DAR Acting Secretary Nasser Pangandaman declared Monday.
Pangandaman said the first batch of the sale, worth more than P23 billion, is up for sale by the Presidential Commission on Good Government, the proceeds of which will go to the Agrarian Reform Fund.
