Burgos, Ilocos Norte: Blessed with the bounty of seaweeds, this coastal municipal town officials launched on Friday a new “feast” which promotes a seaweed delicacy that is also enjoyed in Japan and in other countries.

Popularly called gamet by Ilocanos and nori by the Japanese, the seaweed is used in Ilocano salad, omelet and soup dishes.
