SINGER Bert Nievera, father of concert king Martin Nievera, and his wife Carolina were indicted before the Makati Regional Trial Court by the Department of Justice for the capital offense of syndicated estafa and violation of the Bouncing Checks law, for allegedly failing to pay P14.5 million to an investor in their restaurant business and for issuing securities without the proper license.
