Child advocate at age 11

Cris “Kesz” Valdez may be considered young at the age of 11 as one of the volunteers of the Dynamic Teen Co., led by the recently named CNN Hero of the Year, Efren Peñaflorida and Harnin “Kuya Bonn” Manalaysay, but what this young lad had been into was far from what others in his age have been experienced.

A former street child, beggar and a garbage collector, Kesz haven’t dreamed of being a community volunteer someday. But now, he is an active street educator encouraging children in the streets to love learning and educates them of the proper personal hygiene.
