THE Department of National Defense (DND) has closed the acceptance of amnesty applications of civilians, soldiers and policemen involved in three failed attempts to overthrow the former Arroyo administration following the end of the 90-day period prescribed by Presidential Proclamation (PP) 75.

The Defense department spokesman, Director Eduardo Batac, said that the three-month period given to the DND Ad Hoc Amnesty Committee to accept and process amnesty applications stopped at the end of office hours Thursday.
