The country’s queen of Bossa Nova, Sitti Navarro, launched her new gig at The Fort’s hot nightspot Seventh High to a well attended affair that catered to music lovers of all ages. Sitti performed a range of songs from covers like “Hey Look at the Sun,” “Girl from Ipanema,” and “Mas Que Nada,” to her original hits including the hit, “Para Sa Akin.”

Sitti’s opening night in Seventh High not only brought a night of beautiful rhythms, it also pulled in a diverse crowd with surprise guests. The Cab, an acclaimed American rock band featured in the recent successful concert Smash Project 2012 at the Araneta Coliseum, came to see the show and were impressed with Sitti’s performance.
