Bamboo: ‘I’m a better artist and person’

Bamboo Mañalac was all smiles when he met members of the press at Cerchio restaurant in Quezon City Wednesday night. It was the launch of his brand new single, “Carousel,” which has been added to a repackaged version of his debut solo album No Water, No Moon.

“How have I changed . . . ,” he wondered out loud when someone asked about the difference between Bamboo then and now. “They say I was suplado before . . . was I?” he asked. The reply was a chorus of “Yes!” from the small crowd. The singer just smiled.
