India is eyeing the manufacture of medicines in the Philippines and is seeking cooperation with the country in the areas of renewable energy, information technology-related services (ITES) and food processing.

“Our pharma companies are keen to come and produce medicines here for the domestic and export market.” said India’s Department of Commerce Joint Secretary and Head of Delegation Shri Siddharth at the sidelines of the 11th meeting of Philippine-India Joint Working Group on Trade and Investments (JWGTI).
