The fourth Olivarez Cup Open tennis championships reels off on August 14 with a huge field, led by the country’s leading players, interclub campaigners and upcoming stars, slugging it out for top honors and ranking points at the Olivarez Sports Center in Sucat, Parañaque. Also up for grabs in the eight-day tournament ending Aug. 21 are cash prizes with event presenter Palawan Pawnshop putting up a total prize fund of P300,000. The other backers of the event are Dunlop Sports as official ball and Olivarez Sports Center.
