Total mobilizing relief for victims of ‘Yolanda’


Under its disaster relief program “Tulong Total,” Total (Philippines) Corp. (TPC) is mobilizing its employees and resources to help those affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda.

From November 16 to 30, families, individuals and civic organizations can drop off their contributions at the following Total stations: Metro Manila—A. Bonifacio, Alabang, Balintawak, Better Living, C-5 (Pasig), EDSA (Pasay), EDSA (Mandaluyong), Fairview (Quezon City), General Luis (Novaliches, QC), Greenhills, Las Piñas, Libis (Calle Industria), Makati, Marcos Highway, Merville, Mindanao Avenue, Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Newport, Shaw Boulevard, Sucat, Valenzuela, West Avenue, West Service Road.; Cebu—Basak, Bogo City, Cenapro, Lapu-Lapu, Mabolo, Naga, Osmeña, Ouano, Plaridel; and Bacolod—Taculing, Talisay, Mabini, Bata, Alijis, Suma-ag; Iloilo—De Paul, Oton, Fuentes, Arevalo, Santa Barbara, Tigbauan, Mandurriao, Lapaz, Hechanova, Avaceña, Villa, Tagbak, Cabatuan.

Along with these donations in kind, the company is participating in the “Bawat Litro Makakatulong” campaign, where a portion of its fuel sales from November 16 to 30 will be turned over to the Red Cross. Still in partnership with the Red Cross, TPC’s employee volunteers put together care packages for distribution at evacuation centers/shelters, and have pledged individual donations as well.

Total is one of the largest integrated oil and gas companies in the world, with activities in more than 130 countries. The group is also a first rank player in chemicals.
