NINE members of the communist New People’s Army (NPA) surrendered to government forces in the Mindanao region.

Capt. Alberto Caber, chief of Public Information Office of the Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom), on Sunday said that of those who surrendered, six were from Brgy. Tasiman, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato province, while the three others were from Sitio Balagonon, Brgy. Managa, Bansalan, Davao del Norte province.
