Cagayan Valley Rising Suns head coach Alvin Pua is facing a lifetime ban plus a P500 thousand fine after assaulting game official Ben Montero during a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Developmental League game against the Livermarin Guardians at the Ynares Sports Complex on Thursday.
A part of the statement PBA Commissioner Chito Salud released on Friday, said that “mauling a referee is not justifiable in any way” which led to the verdict of banning Pua.
