The Office of the Ombudsman said it has found probable cause to file perjury and breach of conduct charges at the Sandiganbayan against former National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region X Manager Julius Maquiling over an allegedly false statement in his 2009 Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN).

Based on a statement issued by the Ombudsman on Wednesday, Maquiling declared in his 2009 SALN that he had no existing business interests and financial undertakings.
