Filipina triathlete Maria Claire Adorna is confident she can win gold back-to-back as she plunge into action in this year’s edition of the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to be held from August 19 to 30 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Two years since her gold medal finish in the Singapore SEA games, Adorna, 23, has been working hard to bring her speed and stamina to greater heights. Adorna will be representing the Philippines in triathlon with fellow Pinay Marion Kim Mangrobang—the Singapore SEA Games silver medallist—and Nikko Huelgas the men’s division gold medalist.
