SANTA ANA, Cagayan: An emergency relief group said it has reached more than 5,535 typhoon-hit families in six provinces in Northern Luzon as it continued to bring more goods and support to already identified areas hardest-hit by super Typhoon Ompong.

The Bangon Northern Luzon (BNL), in coordination with the office of Secretary Raul Lambino, Presidential Adviser for Northern Luzon, said a total of 2,535 families in Cagayan already received packages of relief goods in their post-typhoon effort.
