CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija: A low-cost housing developer and mayoral candidate in Talavera, Nueva Ecija was arrested for estafa cases in connection with his alleged failure to pay his credits involving millions of pesos.
Senior Supt. Leon Victor Rosete, Provincial Police director, said Alfredo Libunao Jr., 52, of Barangay Calipahan, Talavera was arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) based on arrest warrants issued by the regional trial courts (RTC) in Canatuan City and in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.
