A study revealed that Iloilo has the highest residential electricity rates among cities across the Philippines, Freedom from Debt Coalition (FDC)–Iloilo chairman Ted Aldwin Ong said.

FDC’s comparative study found that 2018 electricity pay rates are the highest in Iloilo at P12.09 per kilowatt hour (kWh), followed by Bacolod City at P11.86 kWh, Cebu City at P11.7286 kWh, General Santos City at P10.21 kWh, Davao City at P10.12 kWh, Tacloban City at P8.94 kWh, and the National Capital Region at P8.38 kWh.
