More than 300 students attended the initial learning sessions on financial planning conducted by Allianz PNB Life Insurance Inc. at the St. Scholastica’s Academy and St. John’s Institute in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

For this initiative, Allianz PNB Life partnered with resource person, Jong Merida, president and CEO of Insight TM Corporation and director of the Wealth Management Center for Communications and Research Inc., which is a center of excellence for financial education.

The financial literacy talk emphasized the importance of having a holistic approach to education, which includes the development of the youth’s ability to manage their money well.

“We aim to prepare the youth to be financially responsible and to develop an entrepreneurial mindset by providing them with relevant finance principles and an understanding of the financial markets,” Bernadette Pantoja, Allianz PNB Life distribution partner head and event lead, said.
