SEN. Leila de Lima reminds me of that tough Basque heroine, Dolores Ibarruri, La Pasionaria. They may have differing ideologies but when it comes to courage, principle, work ethic and eloquence, Leila more than qualifies as our own La Pasionaria, who cried during the Spanish civil war No Pasaran! They shall not pass, manifesting undiscourageable resolute resistance.
