EXCELROOF leaned on Calvin Abueva and Jimbo Aquino’s clutch baskets in the crucial stretch to pull off an 87-83 overtime win over Fern-C, forcing a three-way tie for the lead Tuesday in the 2010 Philippine Basketball League PG Flex Erase Placenta Cup at the Arena in San Juan City.
Aquino tied the count at 83-83, before Abueva split two trips in the foul line to seal the win for Excelroof and tied with Pharex-B and Cossack Blue at the top of the standing with similar 4-1 slate.
