TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan: The P486-million Abusag Bridge in Baggao town is being built to solve the struggles of inner village residents who have always experienced being isolated in times of typhoons and heavy rains, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the Cagayan Valley region. Wilson Valdez, DPWH Region 2 information officer, said the bridge would cover the length of 511 meters consisting of 17 spans, with a carriageway width of 7.32 meters, including a total of 686.454-meter road on both sides of the approaches. He said the Abusag Bridge, which is expected to be completed in 2020, would link the town of Baggao to other municipalities of Cagayan province.
