THE Supreme Court affirmed that Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel 3rd was president of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
In a resolution dated on June 18 but released on Tuesday, the high tribunal dismissed a petition for a temporary restraining order (TRO) filed by Rogelio Garcia, also from the PDP-Laban, against a Commission on Elections (Comelec) ruling which acknowledged Pimentel as president of the PDP-Laban and as such was authorized to submit documents to the poll body, including the list of candidates for the midterm elections last May.
