REAL-ESTATE player C Estates Inc. would soon allow foreign investors to purchase a portion of Philippine-based properties through its online platform that would use blockchain technology. This platform, intended for both whole or fractional property investing of any properties in the country, will have its soft launch by end-July, C Estates Chief Operating Officer Elixes Becislao told reporters on Monday. The platform seeks to change the tedious way of investing in the local real-estate market as it would use the process of tokenization, he explained.“Everything is turning digital, and real estate is not an exemption,” Becislao said.
