BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya: To ensure safe produce from aquaculture, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) conducted a series of orientation on Philippine Good Aquaculture Practices (PhilGAqP), which also aimed to enable fish farmers to achieve higher socio-economic benefits.
According to Jefferson Soriano, BFAR Region 2-Regional Fisheries Laboratory (RFL) head, PhilGAqP aims to prevent or minimize the risks associated with aquaculture production.
