CCP celebrates Bayanihan anniversary


AN intimate fusion of the old and the new in Philippine folkways comprise the “Creative Imagination” of the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ (CCP) presentation to mark the 63rd anniversary of award-winning National Folk Dance Company, Bayanihan.

In collaboration with the Bayanihan Folk Arts Foundation, CCP presents the special three segments — “Searching for the Filipino Soul,” “The Voyage for Love and Peace” which tackles Muslim Mindanao and “Mujeres de Mis Sueños and The Women of My Dreams from a Bygone Era.”

The show follows the successful performance of Bayanihan at the Asean Cultural Center in Bangkok and at the coronation ceremony of Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn.
